Homebirth

So I never got to sleep last night.  Got the call to go help a baby being born.  It was a fast and furious homebirth that I barely made it in time to help!  Thank goodness the midwife was right behind me.  So I worked on this 'gift' for 2 days straight really and it was pretty difficult.

I used a font on the computer, cut them out and traced them onto fabric (took me a round to realize I needed to trace them onto the fabric backwards).  The hardest part was definitely sewing the letters to the background fabric.  You can't really tell from this picture but they don't look very good.  All well, I'm still excited to give it to this Momma and that I was part of her awesome homebirth.
