I made a font today! Over at YourFonts you can make your own font anytime for $10, but today is National Handwriting Day so they have a coupon code for FREE! I’m not sure what all the blogging legalities are but so this is not a sales pitch by any means.
There are obviously some flaws, which I’m assuming is more my error/scanner settings then anything, but if I had the time and energy to do it again I will definitely try a thicker pen. And I would love to try cursive. For now however, this is great. After having scanner problems and contacting Lexmark customer service chat, filling out a template several times before I felt like it was right, and finally making sure all the settings were right for the program to read the template. I’m just glad it’s legible and does look like my handwriting for the most part.
I also did a major overhaul of the playroom today and found some projects in there I’d like to do. Exciting times!
